Our Story
This idea began in a small city in southern India. Alleppey, once overwhelmed by waste and pollution, turned things around through community education. Over time, Alleppey became one of India’s cleanest cities.
Many of Pealen’s founders were part of this effort. They saw how knowledge can transform a city.
Today, Pealen brings that lesson to the world—sharing climate solutions through education. We believe change starts with learning.

Crisis Point Alleppey, India was overwhelmed by waste. Public anger pushed for urgent change.

A Bold Idea Let every household manage its own waste—transforming the problem into a community effort.

Global Spotlight Alleppey’s streets cleared, and the city began its recovery. UNEP named Alleppey a global model.
